General Class Information

This class is part of the one day WINTER BOW event.  Please only sign up for ONE class for the day.  If this class was your number one choice and is full, please consider signing up for another course.  Women participating in courses that were not their first choice are always surprised at how much fun all the classes are!

Thank you for signing up! The event will be held February 16, 2019.  In the event of severe weather, the snow date will be February 17, 2019.

This beginner course will introduce you to basic tracking and common wildlife you might see while snowshoeing in New Hampshire. We'll talk about different types of snowshoes, how to choose the right snowshoes for your needs, how to put them on, and how to maneuver in the woods.  You will also learn what items to bring on a winter hike.  Then, strap on your snowshoes as we search for signs of wildlife and learn the art of wildlife tracking. Snowshoes will be provided, unless you bring your own. Please indicate on payment form if you will be bringing your own.

**Once registered online, print and mail all required forms (found below under "Details" to Kim Proulx, BOW Coordinator, 11 Hazen Dr., Concord, NH 03301.
Forms must be in the BOW office by January 22nd, or your name will be REMOVED from the roster and your space will open to the public.  You will be mailed a confirmation letter and gear list after January 22nd.
