NOTE:  You cannot modify your name or date of birth, contact Fish and Game at (603) 271-2743.

To buy licenses online you will need to enter information to identify your record.  To search for your record, enter your Last Name, Date of Birth (enter 4-digit year), and just one of the following numbers:  a N.H. Hunt/Fish License number (year 2000 or later); a Driver’s License number; or a N.H. Hunter/Bow Education Certificate number (year 2000 or later).  (Note: It may take up to a month after taking our hunter ed. course before the information is on file).

If a record is not found, click on ‘Add A New Customer’.  When entering your information, enter your legal name as it appears on your driver's license.

Please note
:  In order to purchase a hunting or archery license through our online system or Wal-Mart, you must have held a hunting or archery license or taken hunter or bow education, in New Hampshire since the year 2000.  This allows NHFG to confirm that the applicant meets the hunter education requirements.  Otherwise, you will need to purchase your license at a traditional license agent, and present your applicable hunting proof (from any year, any state)- online only courses are NOT valid in NH.

Note: Hunting and fishing licenses are legal documents intended to be purchased by the licensee.
Refunds will not be granted for duplicate or incorrect purchases.  The online system is NOT checking for duplicate purchases; that is the applicant’s responsibility.

Only one Moose Lottery Application shall be entered; Moose Lottery monies are not refundable.

A $2.75 internet transaction fee and 2.5 % credit card fee will be charged for each purchase, in addition to the license cost.  We accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover.

Refunds:  Please be aware, there is no provision within state law that provides the Fish and Game Department with the authority to refund monies.  It is the Department's policy not to issue refunds for applicant errors.  For system errors, please contact the Department for review and consideration.  Any amount refunded will be less: $1 per license type, 2.5% credit card fee, and $2.75 transaction fee.  Moose Lottery monies are NOT refundable.

Note:  The license you print is your official license and must be on your person whenever you go fishing/hunting.   In order for a license to be valid, it must be printed out and signed by the applicant.
